Hello Brilliant Star Family,

Yesterday, Governor Torres declared a state of emergency to protect the CNMI against the threat of the COVID-19 virus. As a result all non essential government offices have been shut down and the Public School System has issued a shutdown of all campuses until March 30th. He is asking the community to practice social distancing, only to leave your home if it is absolutely needed and has banned all gatherings of 50 people or more.

Brilliant Star Montessori School will enact the following protocol…

a. Staff will be working from home or their classrooms the week of March 23rd - 27th.

b. Office hours will be from 10 am - 2 pm next week.

c. Do not come to campus before calling the office.

2. BSS’s flexible spring break goes into effect this week.

a. Spring break will be from March 16th - March 20th

3. Observations and Parent Teacher Conferences are postponed to a later date.

Please contact me as soon as possible to reserve your child's spot for next school year.

Family Needs

Know that we are all in this together. If you or someone you know has an essential need such as food, shelter, or water due to the current situation please let me know and I will do what I can to help. Our community both here at school and in the CNMI is strong!

Be positive and stay healthy!
